After graduating from American Robert College, İlke Tuatay obtained undergraduate degrees of both Economics and Business Administration from Koç University, Istanbul. During his college and university years, he was especially interested in company financing and operational processes. Currently, he continues his MBA studies at Koç University. He lead two startup projects which targeted to decrease the logistics expenses of companies, increase satisfaction of customer experience and help companies to analyze their customer traits in a more efficient way. These two startup projects became finalists at Istanbul Technical University’s Arı Çekirdek and MIT 50K Business Plan Competition in 2012. In the meantime, he worked part time at the US Consulate General in Istanbul at Foreign Commercial Service Department. For the last 4 years, İlke Tuatay has been working as Project Specialist at Koç Holding Human Resources Directorate. His purpose is to reach out to new business trends, to approach to the entrepreneurs who has unique perspectives on operational processes and to explore startups which have human resources as their core businesses and use digital technologies in an efficient way. He also provides mentorship to those which meet his purposes. İlke Tuatay is also interested in social entrepreneurship. He is a member of Yenibirlider Foundation which aims to bond the university students with business leaders. He also has certificates from London School of Economics, Yale University, University of Texas and Hong Kong Science and Technology University in the fields of economy, entrepreneurship and leadership. He is fluent in English and German.
